Just heard my daughter’s friend also say “actually?!” today. When I expressed my surprise that she also uses it in that way, they thought I fell off the moon.

Oh yea, I forgot about that one! My daughter says “like actually?” all the time!!

Satisfying-yes! And then her younger sisters use it also and it's funny to listen to but yeah that word doesn't really bother me.

Kneading challah dough is so satisfying. So is popping bubble wrap, using an electric pencil sharpener, turning on the blender and watching the fruit turn into a smoothie, etc. At least how my dd uses it.

They use it to mean - so fancy! And in today's teen slang, that's really what it is.

It really describes someone who's considered middle class yet wants to be upper class and is determined to live a wealthier, flashier, more lavish lifestyle (designer labels).

A lot of Lakewood women (especially the younger ones) say “socially off” a lot. They make it sound like the worst thing in the world and some of us feel like we’re socially off so it puts a lot of distance between us and them. In general it puts a lot of high school or even middle school vibes on the table. So uncomfortable for grown women to have to deal with.
