My son keeps staying out later than I tell him to and hanging with boys I'm not happy about.
Is it reasonable to tell him he need to be home at 10 after he finishes davening?
What punishment could I give him when he didn't listen me.
I will tell him he needs to be home at a certain time and most times he comes home a bit later.
I'm afraid that now there is no camp and no yeshiva he will stay out till very late.
The last shacharis is late so he doesn't need to get up so early.
Also I really don't like his group of friends.
I'm really stump as what to do.

14 is really to old to punish for thatโฆ.
In my circles in the summer 10 is very early for a 14 year old.

Most parents enforce curfews by tying it to some privilege. "I'll drive you and your brother to the movies next week (or whatever) if you are both home by 10 every night this week. If you keep your end of the bargain, I'll keep mine. Deal?"
