I am 6 weeks pregnant and feel so sick. Obviously its too early to tell anyone. But its really hard to act just fine at work. I am also trying to not throw up, because if I do I may as well just post a memo to the whole office announcing it.
I know there's nothing to do about it.
Just kvetching...

I can relate. I remember when I threw up on the bus on the way to work. There was a hole in the bag and it got all over my skirt, and it was too far away to go home so I had to wash off my skirt in the bathroom with paper towels.
Another time I was throwing up right outside the office. I came back w/ tears in my eyes. I thought everyone heard but later on I found out that noone realized.

Although this never happened to me I remember that the last time I worked in a big company there were women having this problem all the time. No one talked about it (except the ladies in question themselves) and people only really noticed if they were in the bathroom at the same time.

I can definitely empathise - all the women in my office knew I was pregnant, at 4 weeks - as I was throwing up 2-3 times per hour, and had to keep dashing!
But they were quite nice to me - and kept quiet for a few months without commenting!

I was once in the elevator with a male co-worker, my mouth full of vomit. He was talking to me.. I was just shaking my head yes or no, and at the end ignoring him... Elevator stopped, I ran to the bathroom.

Yup. I could totally empathize. In my last pregnancy I was working in a classroom that was right above the lunchroom/kitchen and the smell of the school lunch made me sooo sick I'd often have to run out of the classroom (like at least twice a morning) to the bathroom and throw up. I'm sure people heard me or saw me running--but nobody said anything (and I did tell the teacher I was working with--but she had already figured it out.)
