I'm looking over my grocery receipt now and see I was charged $6.99 for a dozen large eggs. Crazy. Is this just boro park? Is this just kosher stores?

It's not before pesach. So why is prices so high?!

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, the chicken in the West Coast are sick and the east coast needs to ship eggs that way. With so little supply the price will be higher for everyone.

Some stores such as Walmart/Costco whatever, might keep egg prices low as a loss leader
