I would ask the school bus company to start a chat for the moms where the bus live location is shared. That way there's no waiting around for the bus. You walk there on time and walk back home

Bus chats are great but where I live the schools make the stops and will send you a stop list and you can create a chat. I recommend it its really helpful.
