Any way to see YouTube without dealing with ads?

There used to be a skip ads option. Now I have to keep refreshing the page and even then there's no guarantee I'll be able to see what I want. Thanks.

Why do you have to refresh the page? Can’t you just wait out the ad?

I have YouTube premium so I don’t get any ads.

There's a chrome extension that blocks ads on a computer. Nothing for the phone I know of.

Yes! There is! When I open my Google app on my phone and type in YouTube and then go to YouTube from there, I never get any ads

You tube premium.
I used to mainly watch on my browser so used ublock origin browser extension but since I mainly use my phone I just pay for premium.

If you dont sign in then there aren't ads besides for a few channels.
There are cons to that though

If you only watch YouTube on your laptop you can easily get the ublock origin browser extension or adblock plus and that gets rid of all ads on any website including YouTube.
