Hi. Im very new at this. Some background. My son was diagnosed with adhd only, for now. But I think he’s on the spectrum. Right now im trying to figure out aba for school. But my insurance doesn’t cover it bc he’s not diagnosed with asd. Is this usually covered in nyc or does it have to be with an asd diagnosis as well? Thank you

He needs an asd diagnosis and then some insurances covers regardless of your income.

My son's ABA is covered by his health insurance.
You need an ASD diagnosis. The doctor is prescribing ABA (so to speak).
