What should I dress my kids in for RH? Winter or summer clothes?

What is the weather supposed to be like where you live?
Where I am its supposed to be almost 80 so it will be summer with sweaters on top.

Light winter (long sleeve but not heavy sweaters) with socks instead of tights.

Brooklyn.
Winter. Too chilly out for shorts. Also they are stained or they don't fit.

Its too warm for winter in my opinion.

Light winter. So no turtlenecks but the shorts and short sleeves are packed away

Monsey. Not being super hot but not very cool either. My kids will most probably wear winter because their summer stuff are either torn or stubbornly stained. I hope it can pass.

Am I the only one who davens at a shul that cranks the A/C? Even if its warm outside, its cold inside. So winter clothes.

It’s supposed to be warmer in Lakewood so I’ll probably dress them in summer clothing
May that be our biggest problem to worry about - for Jews worldwide

Check the weather forecast for your area and plan accordingly. It makes no sense to dress a child--or an adult, for that matter--in clothing unsuited (ha!ha!ha!) to the weather just because you bought new things for the upcoming season.

That's kind of how a lot of people split their wardrobes. The stores (Lakewood) have a new line of clothing twice a year, and most people will buy their winter outfits- including dresses, shoes, tights... before Tishrei, and their summer outfits before Pesach. I have most of my clothing split out by the two seasons, also there are obviously some things that overlap.

Because that's what they sell in the stores for kids. I have in between clothes for myself, but for my girls it's either thin light dresses or heavy knits and velvets. Haven't seen anything in between

I don't really possess much in the way of real summer clothes. 90 percent of my wardrobe is suited either to winter alone or to the three seasons that aren't summer.
