Everyone take out the creative side of their brains and help me pick a name!!
Basically I am working from home and baking baked goods and decorating cakes, cookies, cupcakes. But then there's the other side of what I do...I also cook! I could cook for ppl who just dont feel like cooking or feel they have the time. I could make an elegant evening for two. I could cater a bris, a bar mitzvah, or if you really want, a wedding. I also do fruit and veggie platters and bagels and lox trype of stuff. So really anything that involves food..im there.
Any ideas?

Can you post pics of the kind of food/cakes etc you make for inspiration?

oh I like the names others have picked, so I just have a question.
I know people locally here trying to do something similar, but the laws here are strict against using a non commercial kitchen. There's really no way to make income from a home kitchen..... you can cook or bake from home if you invest in a basement kitchen or some other commercial kitchen add on, but you can't just use your home kitchen to get the go-ahead from the state.
Can I just ask what you did in Illinois (you're in Chicago, right?) to make it legal to get your home kitchen inspected? And then, how do you handle your hecksher? Can the local authorities hecksher a home kitchen? How? Thanks.
Sounds like a lot of fun!
I haven't been around much lately (too busy working from home myself) but I remember you posting about babysitting and not getting along well with the families hiring you and it was frustrating, so I'm glad to hear you're doing something different!

I do not have a commercial kitchen but I dont need one bc im not legal...
as for a hechsher...my husband is a rav when it comes to kashrus and we prob keep the strictest hechsherim than anyone in chicago so I dont think anyone has a problem.
I like cornucopia but it sounds very fall-y.
