I usually use the boxes of fresh dill but store was out of it… so I bought frozen cubes for the first time. How many do you usually use for an 8 quart pot of soup? TIA.

You'll end up with very dirty chicken soup. It's literally blitzed dill so you'll have millions of little dots of dill floating around your soup.

I put dried dill in a mesh bag along with the chicken, an onion and some whole peppercorns. My soup comes out pretty clear with a few small pieces of dill floating around. Delicious.

Just skip the dill. It won't be clear. I just skip if I can't find it...

What does blitzed mean?

We love it with dill cubes. Gives it color

Yeah I don’t understand the obsession with clear chicken soup. To me clear=bland. Give me some colors and flavors!
