Is anyone else finding that the Charles Tyrwhitt "Weave" (rather than twill) dress shirts are ripping after a wash or two? It happened with 2 almost new shirts.

Sounds like a quality control problem.

Even if the weave isn't as sturdy as others, it shouldn't fall apart after two washes.

I would contact them

I did and they say they have a 6 month warranty, so Im covered, but the "Twill" may be stronger (although not as pretty, imho).

Omg yes!! Exact same kind of rip! 3 shirts already! But I bought them in the lkwd store and they're not backed by the same guarantee. I just ordered more online so they'll be covered. My son has been feeling guilty because we are so mystified about his shirts ripping and it makes no sense! He sits in a beis medrash all day! I'm so glad to know he's not the only one!

Which shirts did it happen with? The twill or the textured weave type?

I want to place a new orde, so I want to know if this is unique to the shirts with the textured weave.

my son just showed me that all his fairly new shirts are fraying at the edge of the cuff of sleeves. So annoying...

Interesting. I recently bought Charles tyrwhitt for my husband and boys for the first time. I've been very unimpressed. A I stone is the favorite so far. And they're cheaper too.

Amother Caramel: Did your rips happen on textured weave shirts or twill/poplin (plain)?

Is the Non Iron fabric really non iron, not even needing touch ups?

How much do they cost?

Wheres the best place to buy them?

I bought them directly from them. They look great without touching up.
