DH’s birthday and I am looking for an escape room type board game that we can play on Shabbos/YT.
I imagine it is a party game that you can only play once and I am fine with that.
Most require playing a recording/enter a code on a smartphone/using a pen.
Anyone know a great one that is shabbos compatible?
Alternatively I would get a regular board game-any recommendations? We have Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Cattan.

I don't know if it's what you're looking for but I was in a store recently looking at a game based on the choose your own adventure books that looked like it had a kind of escape game vibe but didn't look like it would have the same Shabbos-incompatible demands. I can't be sure because I didn't end up getting it but you can look it up.

I never tried the escape room games, but for a board game recommendation, Splendor is great
