Did anyone stay at Grand Beach West in the past year or so? Is it a decent hotel? Are the rooms clean?
We've staying across the street at the regular Grand Beach, I'm looking for info on West.

I was there the last 3 years with my sisters. It's beautiful! Clean rooms, comfortable beds (even the coach bed- was surprised it's so comfortable).

I was there in May and it’s nice but definitely felt like a big downgrade from the regular one across the street. Also, crossing the street to get to the beach was not like waiting at a regular traffic light, it was very very long.

Was there 2 years ago. Amazing experience. You can use all the amenities from across the street and you have the benefit of quieter hotel.
I dont rem any problem with crossing the street to the beach.

Felt like a downgrade in what way? Are the rooms the same? Are they suites like the other hotel? Are the rooms clean?
(Never had an issue with crossing Collins.)

I felt like the rooms in West were larger and more spacious, when I stayed in the main building it felt smaller.. but not sure that there’s actually a difference.
