I received some beautiful everyday winter outfits for my two-year-old as a gift. they are mostly 100% cotton, or a polyester-spandex mix, or cotton-polyester-spandex mix.
the label says to hand wash cold, and use a color catcher. (company is Jars.) I find this quite impractical? I'm wondering if I need to follow these instructions exactly, or can I safely cut corners, like perhaps machine was on a delicate cycle cold??
also, will vinegar do as a color catcher?? and do I need to use a color catcher for each wash??

I read the title and instantly knew which brand you’re talking about. I bought some outfits there for my toddler and only noticed these annoying instructions once it was too late.
I ended up washing them on cold delicate, no color catcher, hung to dry. As far as I can tell they came out fine. But I don’t take responsibility for anything and I don’t know if I just got lucky
