If you own a business where you manufacture items in China, can you share what your initial investment was? We're want to start manufacturing some items mid to high end items, im wondering what range of initial capital I might need.

Im a designer and have been designing this product for clients for a while. Decided to start manufacturing them on my own now. I'm just curious what amount of capital is needed to start

a relative of mine works in this field, they are the brokers for ppl who want to produce items in china

You have to get pricing for your specific product
It completely varies based on your quantity, if the product already exists or you need to start from scratch. Do you have a Chinese supplier? Reach out to someone you know who does Chinese manufacturing and see if they'll connect you . Otherwise reach out on Alibaba . Just be aware you have to be in the thousand range for quantity to pay off going to China
