Food should not be left out in the danger zone above 40 or below 140 for over two hours or harmful bacteria will grow. But honestly I dont follow this rule and everything is normally fine because I have a healthy functioning immune system and I dont care enough to dump food even though I know its technically not best practice. Be careful serving to pregnent ill or elderly if there is bacteria to cause food poisoning but you should be fine.
