Does Ami magazine ever offer discounts on subscriptions? I buy the magazine at the grocery weekly and I think it's about time I sign up for a subscription. I would wait if they will have a Chanukah special....

Interesting! Do you know how much a subscription is? $7.99 weekly price x 50 is $399, plus the cost of the special Yom Tov editions, which can be as much as $15.99... I wonder if you're right.

Don't remember how much the subscription was, but it really wasn't much cheaper ($10-15, if at all)

A subscription in the tristate area is $29.99 a month. Total is 359.88 for the year. Which isn't huge huge savings, but its not $10-$15 dollars.

It would be 7.99 x 48. Plus 2 YT editions at 13.99 (I think) each.
There are no new editions the week of Pesach and Sukkos, so there are only 50 editions per year. Hence my numbers above.
If my calculations are correct, it's about a $50 savings.
