I just bought a curly wig and while I love the texture, it’s not cut all right yet, all the layers are the same length and it kind of “tents” out the closer it gets to the bottom—overwhelming and not flattering to me. I feel like the longer hairs in front would also be more flattering if there were shorter. what should I know when I ask for a cut? what is in or out with a curly wig cut?

I have had several curly wigs cut..I get layers cut into them and ..I really get it shaped all around.
