OP keep them in!!!!
It happened to my DD I panicked and took them out, my sister told me to put them in and I'm so happy I did. She also had it.
If you have antibiotic cream you can apply it for a few days otherwise just the spray/ cream from when they pierced.
I think I continued turning once a day or 2 days and very quickly it cleared up.
It's now over 2 yrs later and she doesn't have any problems and wears a variety of earrings.
