Been making gluten free baking recipes using gf flour with dissappointing results
I see this delicious looking recipe but it's not gf thinking to try a regular recipe but subbing the flour only and rest of recipe keep and not adding anything extra or less , what's best gluten free flour to use for cookie bars make it taste as similar as possible to regular ?! It needs nearly 3 cups regular flour if that makes a difference
Thanks !

I've made using almond flour and it tastes gluten
You have to really mix/knead the dough a lot to get it to a normal consistency

King Arthur gluten free flour is cup for cup equal measurements and tastes like gluten cake.
For healthier versions I use almond flour and or rorie flour mix. But then I’d follow a specific recipe as the flour texture is different

Second this. You do have to up the temp a bit and bake it for longer.
