Spinach Dip:
Frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
Mayonnaise
Garlic powder
1 medium onion, finely diced

Mix everything together, adding mayonnaise to get desired consistency.

Thousand Island-ish Dip:
Ketchup
Mayonnaise
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Pepper
Pickle relish (optional)

Mix equal parts ketchup and mayo, season to taste. Relish gives it some extra texture and contrasting flavor.

To make it fluffier, blend with an electric mixer until it is kind of whipped.

Sour supreme/toffutti sour cream (pareve!) with onion soup mix (to taste). Mix and that's all. Delicious and easy!

Spinach Dip
Tofuti sour cream
1 bunch scallions
1 can water chestnuts
1 package thawed frozen spinach

Green Dip
3/4 cup mayo
1 bunch scallions
3 T lemon juice
put in food processor to blend

You can hallow out a round challah and put dip inside. Looks great.

I usually put the spinach dip in the hollowed out challah - you can't hollow out to thin or the bottom will fall out. I fill it about 1-2 hours before serving. It doesn't get soggy, in fact, the next day we pull apart the bottom to eat - Yum!

leaving it over night should make it soggier no? Confused can you do it with anything from parsley dip, to techina the thicker ones. Does it matter if the dip is less watery than watery?
