for my 2 boys (2 and 9 months) for my sisters wedding Question also, do you think it would be too much to add velvet pants instead of the cotton/poly ones they come with?

I am hoping to get a burgundy gown for myself so the color would fit in nicely Smile

It can look very nice especially on dark haired boys...the burgundy might be too strong for light blonds. I don't think I'd like it with velvet pants. Why don't you use the pants that come with it? It's cute.

It's cute. I also wouldn't go for velvet - it's too much.

Cute Very Happy

I personally like the idea of velvet pants with it.

It looks cute.
Find out what the back of the vest is made out of it. Make sure it is not a thin polyester that may cheapen the look.

OhI think it is a lovely outfit just as it is. Iwould skip the velvet pants and go with the pants it comes with.

Now if only girls clothes could be so easy...

Reminds you of what?

I was told that Jews say christ-mas. Christians say x-mas.

The reason being that it is only Hashem's name that we do not say in vain.

I think it's too much for a sister's wedding and at these ages, but again my circles don't dress up so much to simchos (few to no gown except the wedding dress of course, etc).

The problem here is that many jews try not to say what x stands for, meaning, that name...

Where is your sister getting married? When a sib got married in NY, I knew I had to dress my kids rather fancy. I found gorgeous blue velvet and tafetta dresses (Canadian) and boys' black velvet pants-and- vest oufits in Bnei Brak! The dresses, especially, got compliments.
