Does anyone know how to make the dressing you see at simchas, a mayonaise-based dressing? Thanks.

I have a mayonaisse dressing that everyone always loves.
I'm not sure about the exact measurements.
mayonaise (us a good amount, maybe a cup)
vinegar (a few tablespoons)
sugar (I use splenda and usually put in a lot b/c I like sweet & tangy dressings)
garlic powder
dill
salt

Here's another recipe that's always a HUGE hit!
1/3 c. olive oil
3 TBSP. mayonnaise
1 tsp. lemon juice
2-3 tsp. crushed garlic
1 TBSP. chives
1 TBSP. parsley
1 TBSP. sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
It's delicious! I often leave out the parsley and chives (as I don't have them just sitting around and when I want to whip it up on the spur of the moment I can't) and it still comes out great.

I think that your recipe (or something similar) is what I originally had and the dressing that I make came about b/c of laziness.

this is also good.
1/3 of a cup mayo
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinigar.
Its a broccoli salad dressing, but with spices added I think its good for any salad.

You can always add a 1/2 or a tsp of real mustard (to any mayo. dressing)it gives it a diff. but nice taste .
