No, hashafa literally means outlook. It's about what you believe, not what you do. Your beliefs can affect your actions but that isn't what hashkafa is.

It should affect the actions you do by believing it.. When a person sais a Torah Hashkafa way of doing things it should be practiced and followed.. thats my belief.

That's a very nice message that they taught you in Bais Yaakov but it isn't the definition of hashkafa. In fact, this may be your hashkafa.
