well what didn't you like in deal? there 656 Ocean (meat) which is really nice. then there are places in Lakewood - Tastebuds (dairy) is cute, coffeeshop, NYish feeling, great menu; On the Grill (meat) is good; there's a new place The Pomogranite Grill (meat) very good and beautiful atmosphere; then you have less fancy places where you can sit down or take out - Yussi's is delish (West Gate). Glatt Bite is good "fast" food. There are a ton of other little places with pizza and felalfel...

Let me know if you want any more specific info.

I was near Deal on business this summer, and my non-Jewish colleagues were very impressed with Kan Zaman (meat) in Long Branch, and they also loved the (new?) sushi at Back to Nature (dairy) in Allenhurst. They said they would go back to both even if I wasn't there to force them to eat kosher!

We love Mazonabeh - I think that it is in Long Branch. It is milchig.

It is definitely one of our favorite restaurants and is a big treat for us whenever we get to go (we don't live so close).

http://www.jsor.org/restaurants.htm has the address and phone number for all of the restaurants under JSOR's hashgacha, which I think is just about all of them in the immediate Deal area.
