I have 6 girls and 1 boy (b'H). My son is #5. He just turned four. What kinds of activities and toys are appropriate for him? He has a ton of energy and I don't know what kinds of things are good for a boy this age! (My girls would happily play with their dolls for hours at this age!) Now he either makes a mess doing something he shouldn't be doing or whines because he is bored. It is way too cold to go outside! Help! I need ideas for things to do with him! He is home all afternoon! (No car available during the day, so going places is not an option and it is too cold to walk anywhere!)

Blocks/lego/other building toys. Wooden trains. Trucks. *Action figures* (aka boy dolls). Toy kitchen. Cars. Trucks. We had a pop-up basketball net (like those pop-up tunnels or houses) that he could use with nerf balls. Put on some music and let him dance.
