1. discussing my own shortcomings was a way of saying "so what..we aren't perfect..do we deserve to be humiliated?"
2. Devorah Shclussel (sp?) in her blog made (I think extravagant) comparison to the "attack" on Lubavitch women and Mumbai. I am not making such a parallel here. I am just saying if Essman would have met an "ideal" Lubavitch woman like Rivky Holtzberg z'l she might change her mind.
and it was a subtle hint that given everything Lubavtich has been suffering lately Mumbai..(also including bomb threats on 770 chas v'shalom, which I didnt mention) the last thing we need is to be publicly humiliated right now.
