This is going to sound very funny, but it's my immersion blender. It gives the mashed potatoes a wonderful creamy consistency.

Crayon my babys love that creamy texture but for us reminds us of baby food so I use a masher. and don't freak out anyone but miracle whip lots of it gives it a butter like flavour and season w/h garlic shredded or powder it's delic Tongue Out
I serve w/h an ice cream scoop

It melts like margarine into the mash. Dh doesnt like marmite usually but he cant tell when I add it to mash potatoes cos it just adds a good flavour.

mash with a potato masher, leave some water from the cooking in the pot, and either margerine or a bit of oil, gives the potatoes a creamy taste and consistancy! Whenever I'm at my mothers house she tells me to mash the potatoes, she says I do it best.
