today when moving my bed, I found TONS of ants all over the bed-frame. it was a national geographic moment. Puke

My mother in law was re-doing her kitchen for pesach when she found her diamond ring when her old kitchen was thrown down, after missing for 20 years!!!

We had been looking high and low for DS1's purim costume from 3 yrs ago, we wanted to use it for DS2. Not finding it, we bought him something new. Last week when we did dh's closet, we found it there...

also, I'd been looking high and low for half of DS1's pair of crocs. Not finding it, I threw out the other pair. Of course, the other half pair was found in the selfsame dh's closet...

I think he should open that closet door once in a blue moon...

My mother lent gave me a pair of diamond earrings for my son's wedding and siad I could keep tehm on permanent loan as she never wears them. A few weeks later I wore them for another simcha. As I got undressed I realised I only had one on !
I searched the car, and teh house an never told her

Motsei Shabbat we were cleaning our bedroom and I found it under a cupboard BH !

Haven't found anything yet but hoping to find...

One of the babies sippy cups just vanished. I remember bringing it in the house and thinking "am I going to remember I put it here???" and well... I don't remember where I put it.

The corner attachment to the vacuum cleaner is gone also. I remember shoving it somewhere Erev Shabbos about 2 months ago never to be seen again...

I posted this on another thread but it's fun so I'll post this story again.
One year, as my mother and I were cleaning a living room pullout couch for pesach we found a matza wrapped up in a napkin - it was my Zaidy's afikoman that no had found the previous year. My Zaidy must have finished the rest of the Hagada on his own (eating a substitute afikoman) and went to sleep (he hates long seders). This couch was never opened and the first time we had ocasion to do so was on erev Pesach.
I guess that's one great hiding place (I thought I should call Zaidy up and ask for a gift...)

I found my husband's first drivers' license...what a cute sixteen year old he was. LOL

Also, this is is bizarre, but I found a prescription for some meds for my husband's grandfather, who passed away over 5 years ago. I have NO idea how it got into my house. (We got married after he was already deceased.)
