Just wondering what the working moms on this forum do.
It would be interesting to see what your side professions are.

I'm a legal secretary, but I don't define myself as what I do all day/for a living.

Graphic Designer (I'm not the only one, but I think it gives away my identity).

Is that a Jewish Montessori school? Are there any Jewish Montessori schools?

It's probably a LOT easier being a lawyer than a legal secretary...I have to work set hours, and the lawyers come and go as they like...

Well, I've worked in house for a major insurance company for most of my career. It's a regular 40 hour a week kind of job, so not as demanding as most law jobs. Also, I've been fortunate that they're extremely flexible about early Fridays, working from home during school holidays or when one of the kids is sick, etc. etc.. So it works out.
I don't know that I would make the same career choice if I had it to do over again, (although maybe I would) but I wasn't frum until after law school. By then I was established. And, frankly, we need the parnassah to pay tuition for our cuties, among other things. It's also enabled my husband to work in a less demanding job which gives him more time to learn, since he doesn't have as much pressure to make money.
The work itself is fun - I don't do litigation or anything like that - I mostly do corporate transactional work.

Ah. Well, I work in real estate. I do the legwork & paperwork and the lawyer just looks at it and says it's okay.
It's VERY different!
