where have all the dishes gone ... I recently put a pile of plates into a pan and placed them in the cabinet ... shhhhhhh don't tell the kiddies ... what funny things have you done to get dirty dishes out of sight & out of mind ?!?!?!

you mean you did it on purpose? I've done it but only in senior moments or while distracted. Put the dishes in the fridge and the OJ in the cabinet kind of thing.
Then again I have a double sink with a cover that slides from one side to the other. I can have one side empty and the covered side full to bursting. (however, it's a small sink, so one two-quart pot and a small Tupperware is already full to bursting.)

I put the Shabbos dishes in a pan and stuff it under the sink. If not, they take up all the counter space.

I've put stuff in the oven!
My SIL has her washer/drying behind folding doors. Sometimes she puts the dirty stuff on top of the drying and closes the doors. . .hehehe.
