I finished saying shir hashirim for 40 days. My request was granted. Part of the segulah is to advertise it. So people , I almost lost my job, I did not work for 2 months. I finished saying shir hashirim. I'm back at my job. I'm saying shir hashirim now for something else.

I've only heard of saying Shir Hashirim for shidduchim. What else is it known to be a segula for?

everything. I sometimes say it for minor things.....I asked my husband if you're allowed to daven for things that seem important, but are really shtusim. My husband told me a Yid is allowed to daven for everything......

Treaty, that's so true, we're allowed to daven for everything. We have so many opportunities, Shemoneh Esrei and the rest of davening, informal davening. I would think that such segulos would be for "big" things and my question is, is there any literature that delineates what big things.

I said shir hashirim once for 2 things. Only one was granted. I said another 40 days for the other thing (a real major one) six days after finishing it for the second time that was also granted.
For those that asked, I say shir hashirim.
Keep your tefilos going

It is a segulah to say shir hashirim or perek shira or sefer tehillim for 40 days. It's better to say it during the day than at night, but I think both are fine.
