My brother just came home with a quote from somewhere in Shevach ha Moadim, saying women are not supposed to lean when drinking the 4 cups?!?!?! Anyone hear of such a thing befor

I never heard that they dont lean. we ar all suppossed to be like kings and lean (unless its only the kings and not the slaves Wink

I heard that women are ALWAYS like queens, so we don't need to davka lean on Pesach to remind us.

Your poor teacher, where did she get that from? or was it a he??
Apparantly acc. to our seder table discussion this year, women are always noshim chashuvos, important women, and so dont have to lean because the leaning is to show that men are NOW free and important
or something
