This reminds me of the joke about the man drowning who says: hashem will save me.
Anyway, how can you look such a gift horse in the mouth? I would have thought I died and went to heaven if this type of thing had been offered to us during our years in the U.S. Who cares if it's permanent or not? It's a raise, a chance to live in Israel without financial hardship... what more could you ask for? And if you can do an internship (or whatever) here and get credit... all the better!
