My sis would like to get new china.

I know ppl that got Noritake china from Costco. Has anyone here gotten it?

What style is it?
Do they carry the same style every year?
When exactly does costco have it in stock?
How many piece place setting is it, 5 or 7?
How many and which serving pieces does it come with?
How much does one set ussually cost?

I appreciate whatever you know! Thanx.

Well, I guess that no one was really able to help.

But I'll try again.

Now that the holiday season is starting. Anyone know which month costco gets in the china?

I got Noritake china from Costco as a gift from my husband's siblings. I got married end of August and I think that's probably when they bought it. My sil got married 6 weeks before me so they bought 3 boxes with 8 settings each and divided it between the 2 of us so we each got 12 settings. I'm very happy with my china but I have no clue how much they paid for it and all that...

I don't know about Costco, but I noticed that Amazing Savings sells Mikasa dinnerware sets. I think they were selling a service for 8 for about $200.

Thanks bubby! So sweet of you to offer to check it out for me.

I go on costco.com every day to see if it's on their website, but I'm not sure that it will even go on. No need to bother with a picture, you could just note the style name, and I'll look it up on the web. Also the price!

Thanks, I'm happy to hear that it comes in around now!

I got it as a wedding gift from my sister. It is 8 place settings
My style is white with a fancy golden border (or two borders) around the plates.
I don't know when they have it in stock, but we got married 8 years ago in October
A place setting is a bowl, 3 different size plates, a cup and a saucer - so 6 pieces
Mine came with 4 serving pieces (a gravy boat and plate, a large oval plate, and a deep oval plate)
I don't know how much it costs but I think it is about $200
They do have different styles through the years, because I saw it last year and the style was slightly different than mine. I think they also have it in 2 colors - mine is gold rim and I saw platinum rim at costco.

I love it and use it every week.

Hi,
I bought two boxes of the set at Costco so I have service for 16. Plus there are a bunch of great serving pieces. They constantly have new styles. Mine is gold with black and gold accent dishes. My sis got it a year later in silver with no black. I have seen other styles there as well.

As far as quality and the likes, it's been 4 1/2 years and so far so good!

Good luck!

HI y'all!

I edited the title. For those that are going to Costco, could you please check if the china came in yet? It is not on their website.

Please let me know if it did.

I appreciate all those that replied to this thread, thanx!

I am so excited to see this post. I did not know that they get it in only this time of year. My sil has it and she is dying for another set, as she has a large family, and a few pieces broke. Other websites have this set for over $500. and at costco it was $2-300 I think.
It is Noritake Black and gold, and its gorgeous. I will go this week or next and see if they have it.
Thought I would not see it again.

Grandmama, I have the set you refer to, but I don't recall seeing it there in the past few years. I hope you have some luck with that!

Well, I went but no luck. They had nice platters & cupcake holders, but no nice china. Sorry! Sad But I'll be going again in a week or two (I forgot half the stuff! Rolling Eyes) & I'll look again & report back.
