I am going crazy. I dont know what to do!
Getting my baby to take naps takes about an hour of craziness each time. Feeding to sleep works but only after feeding, putting in crib, taking out, rocking, feeding some more. I dont have the time to spend 3 hours (3naps) everyday. Its draining to have to nurse for an hour.
I cannot do the crying it out- we've tried, and after 1/2 hour- 45 mins we just cant take it anymore.
Please, someone give me some advice because I cant handle it anymore.

He takes catnaps, 15 minutes or so, after he eats. Every once in a while he'll fall asleep for an hour in the middle of the day. Otherwise, he goes to sleep at 7:30, or 9, or 11... and wakes up about the same time anyhow.

I know exactly what you're going through.
now that the weather is warm we kind of found a solution. we put him to nap in his stroller on the porch. it doesn't always work and maybe it's not teaching him good sleep habits but at least this way I don't have to hold him in order for him to sleep Exclamation

If he's 8 months already he probably only needs 2 naps a day, or even one. If you decide on a time e.g late morning or early afternoon and start putting him down at the same time each day he will probably learn to go to sleep quickly. It could be if it's 3x a day that he's just not tired.
