It seems you found a replacement, which is great. Thinking of myself, I've booked my makeup artist months in advance of my wedding. Like I called her, told her the day of the wedding so far in advance we had a good laugh. I understand if an emergency came up but I'd still be upset if she told me she had to cancel on such short notice.

First one, she canceled 52 days in advance, but otherwise the exact same thing.
Second one, her mother in law was having surgery, but otherwise exact same thing.
Third one, was getting married the same week, but otherwise exact same thing.

What about the fourth and the fifth. I don't rent. The point was I searched "make up artist cancelled on me" and posts came up. The was even an article I didn't post with solutions what to do when your make up artist cancels.
