Mistyrose, are you sure? I’m pretty yeshivish and my crowd has dumb phones with texting. We share a lot of pictures by text. My chassidishe cousins do too.

Yes, many do. But most people still have a digital camera and develop their pics every so often. And most in my chassidish family do not have texting (or camera) on their phones.
But I think that poster meant that today everyone takes all their pics with smartphones, and keep it in the 'cloud'.
