That's why minyanim often ask for a 10th man to just stand there. Not ideal but better than 6 adults to not daven! So if the rebbeim don't like davening there and usually make the 6:30, they can still go. |
Do you work outside the home?
For the next year, you show up for work at least an hour early, every day, and get to work. Don't request extra pay. Don't leave early or take extra days off. Just go in early. You need to make lunches, or get your kids to school? I'm sorry, not my problem. You should WANT to be there early. You want to spend time with your own kids? Well, I don't care. Its more important for you to be at work early.
If you don't want to do this, why should the rabbeim?
And, again, 10 doesn't do it, because of the risk of someone being sick.

Sorry, where I live the rabbanim have to be there anyways to supervise the davening, take attendance etc. and the principal opens up the building. And for an 11th? I am sure there is some benefit the school can provide another teacher to be there as backup. No carpool duty?
I just strongly believe that all boys should have davening in school. Otherwise they are likely to skip it or not take it seriously.
