Baruch dayan ha'emes. I'm terribly sorry to hear. I was mekabel shabbos 10 minutes early this week and davened for Kayla Rus at candlelighting. I have been following your journey and your strength throughout is an inspiration to all. Hamakom yenacheim eschem b'soch sha'ar avelei tzion v'yerushalayim.

When you said that the doctor said he couldn't do anything except make her comfortable. You said you're still counting on a Nes. You were so strong and had so much emunah right to the end. I'm so sorry to hear about your unbearable loss.

Hamakom yinachem eschem b'soch sh'ar aveilei tzion v'yerushalayim.

BDE. I am so sorry. May her Nishama have an Aliyah,
& may she be a Maylitz Yosher for Klal Yisroel.

What is her father's Hebrew name?
After Petira, a person is known as child of Father's Name.

You touched many people through your child and her life. So many performed countless mitzvos. Hashem should help you and your family to get through this difficult time.

When I just opened this and saw three pages since this morning...I didn't know what to think and hoped till the last second the thread appeared.
Chaya Rochel, you said that Kayla Rus was stronger than you. Surely you know where her strength came from - you! You and the beautiful home that you created for her to grow up in, and the education that you provided her, formal and informal.
We do not know where our tefillos went. Maybe to give her strength, you strength... but surely they are somewhere.
Kayla Rus reached incredible heights, and was a role model of dignity, grace, faith, courage, humor, and warmth. She has left a void and we all have our work cut out for us to attempt to fill it. May she be a meilitz yosher.
HaMakom yenacheim eschem b'soch sh'ar aveilei Tziyon V'Yrushalayim.

Not to be insensitive but you should change the thread from Kayla rus bas cr to Kayla rus bas abba

It's very harmful to Chaya Rochel
I know too much about these inyanim

Four years ago, my dd went to a high school open house and was given Kayla Rus's name. She didn't go to that achool, but has been davening for her ever since, with updates from this site.

Baruch dayan ha'emes. Hashem should give you strength. Her neshama should have an aliyah.
