But you have to know what you'll feed 'em.

As it gets later, it doesn't get easier
I realize I've taken nothing out of the freezer

No time to wait for something to defrost...

The big Jewish question is "how much does it cost?"

As for me, no lunch is yet on the table,
And my kids will be in the door as soon as they are able.

So help! What shall I serve,
I'm losing my nerve!

Anything will do, as long as it is kosher

I gave them scrambled eggs, crackers and some cheese.

I hope they will soon all be doing homework,
Although some of them have already gone outside to lurk.

I'm renewing today a system of prize-winning points,

Whatever will take the load off your joints!

technic, no offense meant, my dear Exclamation
you told her she should be cleaning, not posting here
but you'd been here for quite some time
and besides - it rhymed!

p.s. borekas-yekkes - good one!

Oh my, we sure are having some fun!

I especially was laughing out loud,
when I read Squash's post - she should now be quite proud,
(just scroll back until you reach the mechitza
that she found to rhyme with technic's old pizza).

But now to get off the subject of food

Ha ha technic are you having a fit?

At least we have the same tastes in poetry,
I wonder if there is an on-line rhyming dictionary

That would certainly make life on this thread easier

A help for a rhymeless mom

So go ahead and check it out

To me it sounds a bit of a cop-out

Your brains are not working well
And so you think websites should tell
What to write in the next line
Instead of using your seichel on line

Exercising your brain holds off senility

So using that site is really a pity

My grandmother got hooked on Sudoku
I guess what you said she already knew

B"H for this thread keeping our brains sharp

For brains sure beats cleaning carp

But for our souls cooking fish is a treat
Especially when on Shabbos the results we'll eat
Us ladies have to balance things out
Between reading Rashi and frying up trout

And we all know that whoever on Shabbos eats fish

and any other type of dish,

don't forget the relish,
especially if it's delish..

will receive the money spent on shabbos back...

so that cash you won't lack

Actually, carp is a type of fish
That for Shabbos I've never cooked
But the first time I made gefilte
When in the pot I looked

It had exploded!
