When Mrs. Rosenfeld was pregnant and every time she came late or absent we sang our color war song א אינגל א מיידל אדער אפשר גאר א צווילונג פאר
(For those who don't know. She didn't have kids for very many years and had twins when we were in school. Those are the only kids she has)

Yes. Chol homoed she was highly pregnant. After y"t we asked her if she went anywhere exciting (to get a discussion going rather than learning) she said she went to visit 2 friends in the hospital. One had twins the other triplets.

Actually not at all! I loved the bp girls. They were the nicest and I always admired how ehrlich they davened. On the other hand I found girls from one specific location to always be very snobby…

That’s nice to hear. We didn’t get that feeling while there. Maybe we are different ages.

That's because the Boro Park girls were the only satmar girls to speak English among themselves.

Babchy Perlstein, CM fisher and EK greenfield/stein. Once a week miss Perlstein would go to 8th grade to teach mechanics and miss shimanowitz I think would come to us for current events. Yiddish we had 1 teacher and sewing once a week I think half of Yiddish time. In 8th grade we had Toby spitz once a week instead of our regular Yiddish teacher and once a week full day Yiddish- sewing. And of course who can forget wearing our very own ganeyta sheslach to the grad!! LOL LOL

Does she remember Mrs Margolis as a teacher on 42nd street??
That class was in different shuls and buildings and storefronts every few weeks I think.
