the bassinet is only good until 15 lbs anyway. Most only use it as a primary bed until the baby outgrows that & then use the playpen part as a travel crib. Not to keen on 3rd hand info (that may not be true to begin with) anyway.

im with HY, I read rcently that bb who slept in car seat were most likely to G-D Forbids die of SIDS
gradualy weaned, start with nap time. there is also something great that I bought for dd for her to be elelevated:
