OK, what do you make that everyone enjoys and is simple? If it has 5 ingredients or less, I'd love to see it.

I only use 5 dry ingredients on pesach
1. salt
2. potato starch
3. cocoa
4. oil (olive or walnut)
5. sugar

Everything else I make on my own-nuts, orange juice, lemon juice. The food comes out soooo delicous because it is cooked with heavanly natural ingredients that make it so tasty. Such as wine, fresh orange juice, peeled tomatoes and fresh lemon juice.

Hash browns and eggs

Finely dice potatoes and onions. Fry them up until mushy, then pour eggs and scramble it all together. Add some salt and pepper and you're done!

Hush Puppies

Make extra pancakes for your egg lokshen and freeze them. When you are ready, defrost them smear each one with mashed potatoes, and put a strip of chicken or meat down the middle and roll it up.

Pan Seared Steak
olive oil
very thin fillet steak (do not attempt with regular thick fillet steak) OR rib steak (thin preferred)

Heat a clean skillet over medium high heat, until you feel the heat rising 8 inches above the pan. (Will take a while - important step).
Place a bit of olive oil to pan. Add steaks. Do not move steaks around. Wait until the sides are brown most of the way up (for well done). Flip over and finish cooking, about 5-8 minutes.
Serve immediately with a chimichurri sauce or pesto (you may want to thin the sauce with olive oil before smearing over/serving with steak).
(Or just blend fresh garlic, olive oil, parsley flakes, salt and black pepper; and pour over fresh steak.)

(If making steak in batches, wrap each steak tightly in foil while the others are searing. This will retain the juices. Then serve asap.)

20 Clove Garlic Chicken
4-6 chicken bottoms with skin
1 large or 2 small onions, sliced
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp paprika
1/2 - 1 tsp pepper
20 garlic cloves, peeled, but intact

Place onion slices on the bottom of pan.
In a large mixing bowl, toss chicken parts with olive oil, salt, paprika, pepper, and all of the garlic cloves. Pour chicken into pan, on top of the onion.
Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 3 hours.

This comes out great in the crockpot. Cook on low for about 8 hours, or on high for about 4.

(I cooked mine on low for about 8 or 9 hours.)
