I wondered about all your opinions on me. See I love to eat hot bacon and I just can't stop. It's that great smell that I just can't resist.
Now, before I get flamed, I should tell you two things.
1. I'm always careful to eat less than a kzayit, so it's not really forbidden .... OK, so maybe it's not really in the spirit of the law ....
2.At least I'm only causing problems to myself. At least I'm not making other people sin.

When I first read the title and first post, I figured it was some sort of prankster who stumbled upon this site. When I realized that it was a poster trying to "make a point" I found it insulting. I posted the Hot Chanie topic to discuss modern trends in "tznius" and what constitutes the letter vs the spirit of the law. So yes, the title was tongue-in-cheek but there is room for discussion on the topic. This post is just mocking.

Marney, I don't think the poster is mocking. I think she's trying to make the same point you did, albeit in a creative fashion... I.e. the letter vs the spirit of the law. She's pointing out, I think, that we should find the "Hot Chanies" as shocking and disturbing as her scenario.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the subject was an image of Miss Piggy dressed as a Hot Chanie
I figured it had to do with that thread because of the "kaifal lashon" but I was wrong about the Piggy part!

She didn't say that it wasn't cooked. She said she likes hot bacon and enjoys the smell of it, which implies that it was cooked (b/c bacon has a strong smell when it's cooked - it permeates the entire house).

She said "she loves to eat it and can't stop"! That means to me that she makes it at home, not that she gets it from McDonald's!
Reminds of of a book I read, I think it's Tova Mirvis's "Ladies Auxiliary", who loved shrimp and kept a treif pot in the freezer just for her tayves.
OP, there IS "Faking Bakin'" on the market and "Baco's and var. other imitations.
