need help...
can only cook chicken over the stove. need a recipe for chicken and potatoes - good for friday nite and no wine please.

My sister makes this for her kids, everything just goes straight into the pot.
chicken cutlets, cut into pieces
onions
potatoes
onion soup mix
a little water
Cook.
That's it!

I am actually making for shabbos turmeric chicken. Made on the stove top, you can forsure add potatoes and sweet potatoes. Let me know if you are interested.

onions , chicken and potatos, spices as you like
either layer it all and put it on low flame, small ring for 1and a half hour or two
or fry onions, brown the chicken parts on both sides and then add spices and a little water for an hour on medium/ low flame

perhaps you call them burners? the black think sitting on top of the hole where the gas burns in that nice controlled flame
