Problem with my Yiddish is that I never learned it formally just from family members, books, and the dictionary :-) so my grammar is shocking!
ober es iz a shprach vos iz kedai tzu vaisen vi tzu reiden. Mir nutzen dos? dem? tzu raiden tzvishen zich ven mir villen nit az andere mentchen vos zeinen arum zollen kennen farshteien.
(grammar anyone?)

actually what you wrote is very good!

I would add 'ois tzu lernen far meine'
lazy = fohl

It's not "oif shabbes" but shabbes!

During shabbes would be beshaas shabbes, but in your sentece, it would be "er redt Yiddish Shabbes mit Mati".

Isn't b'shass LK?

During can also be 'im.'

If you mean your DH, then that's 'mahn.'

Balabus is used as 'boss' not as 'head of household' these days. Very Happy
