I actually loved the movie, wasn't bored for a moment.
I thought the characters are complex and very well played... the ambiguity between them and the feelings growing... I liked the lights and the soft focuses Smile

It was beautiful cinema!

Just watched this movie and am really confused about the whole thing. Was Shira happy to marry Yochai, or did she do it out of a sense of duty? What was he thinking? The ending just hung. And what is the setup with where Yochai lives? He brought the baby to the house on Friday night in order to go to the tisch, so he was eating at home alone with him before? Same with mincha. And why does he have to go to Shira's house to smoke and get drunk? (Is it just me or was that smoke and get drunk theme repeated?)

Would really like if someone can help me figure this out because I liked parts of the movie and want it to all make sense.

(anon because I want my kids to be able to stay in their schools!)

Rama who wrote and directed the play was interested in a art type of film, She left a lot to the viewers interpretation. She says this in her interviews.

I really hope she makes another film.
