They both "fell". Adler died of his wounds, and Mose recovered.
I hate being so blunt, and I wish Adler could be alive, but I don't see the ambivalence.

You may be right but I think it kills the story (no pun intended). I hope she can save it (or him). Why hasn't she checked in with us here to send a hint or teaser?

She's always been a bit of a sporadic poster, though, I imagine just busy with Pesach coming up and life and stuff.

I missed that one! I read that Caro was holding a picture in the attic but that is the only other picture I read about.

It's the best gift readers can give (and, incidentally, the most nerve-wracking)! SO THANK YOU ALL FOR SHARING!!!
All this was planned in nauseating detail a year and a half ago - which means I've had a year and a half to worry that readers won't enjoy the ride as much as I am! So hearing feedback is fabulous. And SUPER FUN. Especially since I know what's coming, and no one else does (except my mother and sisters, who gasp especially nicely.)
