whats a four inch by five baking pan? can a round one do? what about a pie pan?

A really simple idea is strawberry sauce. Blend strawberries with a little lemon juice and sugar to taste. Spoon over ice-cream.

at Va Bene they make amazing zabione and strawberrys

this is a recipe I found its amazing enjoy

ZABIONE

1 egg per person
for every egg yolk-
½ egg shell of confectioner's sugar
½ egg shell of Marsala wine

Beat egg yolk in a stainless steel bowl over hot boiling water. Slowly add sugar while beating until it turns white. Slowly add the Marsala and keep beating until thick and frothy.
Pour into glass dish.

Quick method: Put all ingredients in a bowl over hot water and beat right before serving.

*Serving suggestion: Best served over fresh strawberries

This lady has some puree ideas. Btw, there are tonnage of strawberry recipes here too although most if not all are dairy.
